Applications for Island Explorer bus driver positions for the summer and fall of 2025 are currently being accepted. For information, call (207) 667-5796.

Applicants can download three required application forms by choosing the links that appear below. Completed applications can be returned by email to [email protected], faxed to (207) 669-9299, or mailed to Downeast Transportation, Inc., PO Box 914, Ellsworth, ME 04605.

A copy of a current medical examination or clearance from a physician is required to drive for Downeast Transportation and the Island Explorer. Please include a copy of that record with your application, as well as a copy of your driver's license (front and back).
